Welcome to Sonakshi Travels. By using our website, booking a tour, or availing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These govern your relationship with us and ensure transparency, safety, and a satisfying travel experience.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. ✅ Definitions

  • “We”, “Us”, “Company” refers to Sonakshi Travels (www.sonakshitravels.in).

  • “You”, “Client”, “Traveler” refers to the individual using our website or purchasing travel services.

  • “Services” refers to all travel-related products offered including but not limited to tour packages, transportation, hotel bookings, guide services, etc.

2. 🧾 Booking Policy

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of advance payment and written confirmation from Sonakshi Travels.

  • Bookings are subject to availability and may vary based on season, destination, or third-party partners (hotels, transport, etc.)

  • All details provided during booking (name, contact, ID, etc.) must be accurate and as per official documents.

3. 💳 Payment Terms

  • Initial advance (typically 50%) is required at the time of booking.

  • Final balance must be paid before tour departure unless otherwise stated.

  • Accepted payment methods: UPI, bank transfer, card payments, and secure payment gateways (Razorpay, PayPal, etc.)

4. ❌ Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation charges will be applicable as per tour-specific policy provided at the time of booking. Hotel Booking charges, car booking or other booking made …. NON-REFUNDABLE in any circumstances.

  • Standard cancellation charges (unless otherwise specified):

    • 30+ days before travel: 10% of package cost

    • 15–30 days: 25% of package cost

    • 7–14 days: 50% of package cost

    • Less than 7 days: 100% (no refund)

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment source.

5. 🧭 Itinerary Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel the itinerary due to unforeseen conditions (weather, strikes, government restrictions, etc.)

  • Any such changes will be communicated in advance. Alternate arrangements will be made at no additional cost or with partial adjustment wherever possible.

6. 📄 Travel Documents

  • It is your responsibility to ensure possession of valid:

    • ID proofs (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, etc.)

    • Visa & immigration documents (for international travel)

    • Health-related documents (if required)

Failure to provide necessary documents may result in denial of travel and no refund will be granted.

7. 🛡️ Responsibility & Liability

  • Sonakshi Travels acts as a facilitator between you and third-party providers (hotels, airlines, transporters).

  • We are not liable for:

    • Delays, cancellations, or accidents by third parties

    • Loss/damage of baggage or personal belongings

    • Natural disasters or force majeure conditions affecting your journey

8. 🧘 Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend travel insurance for all domestic and international trips.

  • We can assist in guiding you to purchase a suitable policy, but we are not responsible for claims made to insurance providers.

9. 🧑‍⚖️ Conduct & Discipline

  • Clients are expected to maintain discipline and respect local customs and group rules during the tour.

  • Unruly, unsafe, or illegal behavior may result in termination of services without refund.

10. 📷 Photography & Media Consent

  • Photos/videos may be taken during group tours and may be used in our promotional content.

  • If you wish not to be photographed, please inform our team in advance.

11. 📱 Website Use & Content

  • The content on this website is owned by Sonakshi Travels and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without written permission.

  • You may not misuse the website or engage in harmful activities such as spamming, hacking, or spreading false reviews.

12. ⚖️ Jurisdiction

  • All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
